After weeks of toiling in hail, rain, wind and sun over a period of 16 weeks, we were delighted to launch the Braw Tea mural. The mural was designed and painted by local street artist, Diane Selbie ( @diamages) and uses a floral theme, featuring local flowers- poppies, daffodils, wisteria, sweet pea and tulips. The official launch took place on the 11th December with an opening with the Lord Provost, Bill Campbell, members of Broughty Ferry community and the funders of the mural- Dundee Rotary Club, Sustrans and Dundee Partnership. Seasonal carols from the choir of Eastern Primary School made it a very festive occasion! The Lord Provost even donned a Braw Tea apron and helped with the dishes! Huge thanks to everyone who made this possible- our building has been brought to life thanks to the wonderful flowers wrapped around us and we hope it brightens your day.
